Dubai Mall

The mall is an integral part of Downtown Dubai. At 12 million sq ft, the mall’s total area is equivalent in size to 200 football pitches. The mall has over 1,200 retail stores, two anchor department stores and more than 200 food and beverage outlets, with options ranging from fine-dining to casual. The renowned Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, the Waterfall and the Ice Rink can also be found inside the mall. The 10-million litre tank which holds the aquarium and underwater zoo can be found on the Ground Floor; there you can walk through an underwater tunnel under a huge shark- & ray-filled tank, plus a creepy crawly zone with snakes. The 24-metre indoor waterfall spans four levels of the mall and is situated at its southern end, and the sensational olympic-size ice rink is situated on the ground floor but extends up to the second floor. It is the best-equipped ice rink in the city, and is open to the public every day from 10am until late in the evening. For more information please visit the Dubai Mall website
